Designed for cold expeditions, on deck and on shore, as a midlayer or outer layer.
The Stormfleece is a ThruDark x Musto collaboration, built on Musto's patented Stormfleece technology and re-engineered with ThruDark DNA. Stormfleece combines a super compact woven face fabric with a hi-loft fleece backer, creating a layering piece that resists wind and rain while retaining the breathability and warmth of a traditional fleece.
Dyneema®, the strongest, most durable lightweight fibre in the world at 15 times stronger than steel by weight, is overlaid at the shoulders and elbows. These are the areas under the most wear on expedition, from backpack straps to elbow contact points, and this marks the first time Dyneema® has featured on a Musto midlayer.
Built for cold expeditions, on deck and on shore, the Stormfleece functions as a midlayer in extreme cold or as an outer layer on cooler days. A 4-way stretch, 260gsm construction keeps it mobile without adding bulk, whether layered under a shell or worn alone.
