The Phalanx is one of our most trusted and longest-serving designs. This highly versatile gilet is constructed from a Polartec® fleece fabric named “High Loft™”. It is one of the most comfortable mid-layers we have ever made and works best when worn under a hard shell or insulated jacket.
High Loft™ has the greatest warmth-to-weight ratio of all Polartec® fleece fabric technologies. The patented high loft construction that gives the fabric its name helps trap more body warmth with the use of longer fleece yarns than conventional insulation. The resulting experience is that of a softer feel and maximum comfort when worn under an outer shell. However, what really sets High Loft™ apart from everyday fleece fabric is its unique open mesh stitching which helps vent excess heat during exercise.
As for details, this black fleece gilet features elasticated cuffs and hems which keep the fleece taut against the wearer’s body. This helps trap heat and also makes for an unobtrusive feel when worn as part of a layering system. Underarm side panels made from another Polartec® fleece fabric, Power Grid™, provide added breathability at targeted areas and allow greater stretch for an improved range of movement.

Fits tight to the body's contours, for a compressed feel.
Slimmer fitting technical wear fits closer to the body than regular fitting items but is not skin tight. Consider sizing up for a more regular fit.

Should you not be satisfied with your order, you have 30 days from the date of delivery to return this for an exchange, full refund or gift voucher credit.
All exchanges are free using our returns portal but please note returns for refund have £5.00 deducted from the final refund amount to cover the cost of return postage.
