Inspired by military heritage, the Twill Overshirt is a mid weight layering piece designed for everyday utility. Featuring two chest pockets and cut from a dyed cotton twill, giving each garment its own unique look and feel. The Twill Overshirt can be styled with a t-shirt or worn over a sweatshirt or hoodie in colder climes.
Modern cotton twill has proud origins in British industry where its balance of comfort and durability made it well suited to workwear before its adoption by the military. During the Great War, cotton twill saw widespread use in jackets and breeches as part of a soldier’s uniform.
Please note, each garment has been dyed individually giving each its own unique look and feel. This means that the Twill Overshirt you receive may look different to that pictured. Owing to the construction and nature of the Twill Overshirt, each piece will look better with age.
