A pure merino wool t-shirt, so-called as it has been designed for multi-day expeditions where travelling light is essential. Naturally thermal regulating, fast drying and odour resistant, the 72HR Merino T-Shirt can be worn for days on end without needing washing.
The real strength of the 72HR T-Shirt lies in its simplicity. The natural structure of merino wool, with its air pockets, allows body heat to be stored and distributed effectively with this aerated space acting as a useful barrier against both hot and cold weather.
One of the common misconceptions is that merino is for use in colder climates. Merino regulates body temperature, transporting warm air next to the skin and moving it quickly to the outer layer. This help maintain a steady temperature. Merino’s ability to absorb more than 35% of its own weight in moisture and it does so without feeling wet to the touch. This moisture then dries more quickly owing to the air permeability of the woollen structure which aids both temperature and moisture regulation and prevents the build-up of odour.
Comfort and wearability aside, this helps create a garment that needs fewer washes – washing as we know is a lead cause of garment breakdown over time. In practical terms, a merino layer can be worn on multi-day expeditions without the need to wash or change (within reason!).

The natural odour neutralising characteristic of merino wool is a result of wool’s unique, scaly fibre structure which is non-conducive to bacterial build up, as opposed to the flatter structure of conventional synthetic fabrics.

Measure at the fullest part of the chest from just under the arms.
Fits tight to the body's contours, for a compressed feel.

Should you not be satisfied with your order, you have 30 days from the date of delivery to return this for an exchange, full refund or gift voucher credit.
All exchanges are free using our returns portal but please note returns for refund have £5.00 deducted from the final refund amount to cover the cost of return postage.
