The Aigis was the name given to the shield carried by Zeus, ruler of the ancient Greek gods. Its name translates literally as "violent storm". The Aigis Jacket itself has been tested on winter mountaineering trips to the Cairngorms, hiking in the Welsh hills, exploring Iceland and in the Alps.
