Who is Mark Ormrod?

Mark Ormrod MBE is a former Royal Marine and the first triple amputee to survive on the battlefield after he was hit by an improvised explosive device. Despite being told he would never walk again, just 14 weeks after suffering his injuries he marched onto parade with the use of prosthetics to accept his Operational Service Medal in the presence of HRH the Duke of Edinburgh.

Mark is a trustee of the charity ReOrg, an organisation that offers brazillian jiu jitsu coaching to current and former serving members of the armed forces and emergency services in a bid to improve mental health.
