Jamie is a 25-year-old, professional snowboarder and 2 x Winter Olympian from Queensbury in Yorkshire. Now, based just outside London, he has travelled all around the world competing in some of the biggest snowboard events and slopestyle snowboard competitions, including X-Games, Tokyo Burton Rail days and the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, where I came 6th in the finals.

He started snowboarding at the age of 7 at Halifax Dry-Slope and has been riding ever since! Becoming a professional snowboarder at the age of 15, he has been lucky enough to travel the world creating some crazy snowboard films and competing for Team GB.

Jamie deployed to Morzine alongside ThruDark co-founders and ambassadors as part of Op Ronin II.

His practical expertise would prove invaluable for the testing and development phase of ThruDark’s Ronin skiwear range. Putting the kit through its paces on the slopes, Jamie ensured that the kit was subjected to all the rigorous demands of an Olympian. Safe to say, it did not disappoint him.

Jamie was brought in to test and develop the cold weather range as an elite athlete who partakes in snowboarding all over the world. We will support Jamie on his ventures and sporting events.
